Loud, objectionable, occasionally funny but mostly trying, the visual experimentation and adherence to all things ugly quickly grows tiresome.

Kuso has nothing to offer for cinephiles or indie lovers. It's over the top revolting and extremely fetishized with no story or interesting characters to back it up.

Kuso won’t be for everybody. It’s gross, it’s repetitive, and if it has a point, it’s hard to discern. But it’s not artless. Every densely layered image of oozing pus and gassy orifices is as imaginatively rendered as it is disgusting.

I liked Flying Lotus´ LA EP´s almost 10 years ago but his experimental approach works better in music because Kuso is just a piece of fu*king trash

This film gave me heart palpitations in the best of ways. Maybe I'm used to this sort of art since I am a long time David Firth fan and he is the man who taught Flying Lotus to animate. You can see his involvement and strong influence. Definitely a strange movie and not for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed it. A movie hasn't made me this beautifully uncomfortable since The a Holy Mountain.
