While it has an amazing first 10 minutes, it's quickly loses what made it so great and just begins to do its own thing, therefore, not making it a very good watch. Some might find it hilarious and weird, but as I said, it just kinda does it's own thing and it really takes you out of the film. Maybe if it were a series of Adult Swim commercial bumpers, than it might've been a fun watch but for the most part, I was actually bored. It doesn't help that the film literally has someone explain the meaning of the film to you, which is never a good thing.

Loud, objectionable, occasionally funny but mostly trying, the visual experimentation and adherence to all things ugly quickly grows tiresome.

Sick and twisted for the sake of being sick and twisted, Kuso is a certainly not a film for everyone, or perhaps anybody. I imagine the experience is like being high on something spiked with an agent that can induce awful nightmares. Though I’m not sure being drunk or high will make Kuso a delightful experience.

Kuso may often feel unproductively loud, and monotonous, but it is a head-scratcher worth contending with.

I liked Flying Lotus´ LA EP´s almost 10 years ago but his experimental approach works better in music because Kuso is just a piece of fu*king trash
