Great acting and music, Lucas Black gives a terrific performance. It does get a bit tiring after an hour, and there is a predictability to it but overall it?s a rewarding film to watch.

The music is amazing. Funny and uplifting. Great cast who really played out their characters well. Lucas Black deserves something for his radiant performance. Loved the Plymouth!

This movie has some nice moments and great music. It's not a bad rendition of the book because it had the sense to know which relationships and situations wouldn't translate on film. Basically, it didn't overreach.
