The first film I saw of Kitano's that doesn't use his comedy skills so subtly, its funny, tragic and gratifying much like most of his work. Always a pleasure to watch Kitano at work.

Amazing, fantastic: all what we are used to consider normal is grinded with sweet-sour irony. The most surreal movie since the Italian masterpieces of the 60s.
