It was a lot of fun. Pacing was slow but I felt it captured what it is like to be in a band somewhat. The fact that it was scored by James Iha didn't hurt either.

A little gem of a film. The movie works on many levels as it deals with friendship, music, high school and discovering your abilities. All done in a mix of seriousness and humor. Great performances, and the songs are a joy.

Brilliant movie! Really cute, great music by James Iha from Smashing Pumpkins. And the title track is stuck in my head badly. "Linda linda! Linda linda lindaaaaaaa"

As played out as the genre may seem, Linda Linda Linda is so honest and refreshingly optimistic it's impossible not to like. Every once in a while a high school "coming of age" film really nails a generation on the head, I think this is one of those films. In many way it is the perfect high school dramedy.
