Eso Cuba!! Peli contestataria a la porqueria que se vive por alla a diario,por mi parte...me saco risas,se me hizo entretenida y divertida,la vuelvo a ver como de que no!

I'm pretty sure this is the first Cuban film that I have ever seen. It holds it own against Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland, my gold standards for zombie comedies.

The story is a bit choppy from the middle to the end. But, hardcore zombie fans can be very forgiving. And, for them, "Juan of the Dead" might just be worth the time. The ending is clever and upbeat. Not too bad.

the most enjoyable--and passionate--zombie film since Shaun of the Dead, Juan of the Dead is an uneven but extremely enjoyable black comedy with a loveable protagonist and sincere passion for its craft. A cult-classic for the midnight crowd.

No cabe duda de que esta es la película que representa a la perfección, cómo los países tercermundistas afrontarían el apocalipsis zombie. Loca y divertida, sazonada con un humor político ligeramente picante, 'Juan de los muertos' es una de las mejores cintas de zombies que he visto en mi vida. Claramente no es perfecta, recae innecesariamente en clichés que deslucen su visión diferente y creativa, sin embargo, las carcajadas estarán aseguradas durante sus 90 minutos de duración.
