Russ Meyer could've touched a pile of pig shit and turned it to gold. God how I wish he was still alive. Supervixens is genius through and through. Sex, violence, random Nazi music, dynamite, reincarnation, psychopaths and snake bites. Genius.

Clint Ramsey (Pitts) is on the run after he's wrongly accused of murdering his nymphomaniac girlfriend (Eubank). On his travels he meets a series of violent characters and a number of bountiful beauties (Uschi Digard, Christy Hartburg, Sharon Kelly and Deborah McGuire) who each have an insatiable craving for sex! All the familiar Meyer trademarks are on display here - an eccentric score, rapid-fire editing, outrageous plotting and of course large breasts. There's also a rather brutal female murder scene which no doubt raised the hackles of his critics. However, that incident aside Supervixens is a gloriously trashy piece of cinema and does exactly what it says on the tin. This is a must for any self respecting fan of cult cinema.

BOOIING! Yes, the selling point of this movie is clear, and it's not the intellectually challenging plot or sparkling dialogue. Meyer fans get exactly what they expect.

A classic melodramatic Meyer work! Mix a few buxom women, campy dialogue, a bit of trashiness, and lashings of sex and violence teamed with a twisted melodramatic storyline and you have 'Supervixens'! A must for any Meyer fan.
