While driving to Las Vegas for the bachelor party of her sister Melissa and her fiance Bobby, Kayla stops the car at a gas station to meet her date, Nik, a guy she met on the internet. Nik convinces her to take a secondary road under the protest of Bobby but the car breaks down. They find a house in the middle of nowhere and decide to take the car parked in the house's garage to the next city...

This movie, like the first, was really good the only problems i had with it were some of the acting, and lines in the film. Through some of the movie it was just usless arguing between characters. The movie is not as suspenceful as the first but it is more brutal....and funny which gives it points. The acting although bad at some points was not always bad, it was decient. The worst part about the movie is the ending just how he survived i dont know if there will be a third but if so there is alot of explaining to do.

Think I liked the first one better, although this one seemed gorier and a little crazier. Just a lot of stupid shit in it really. Our main protagonist "goldilocks" is an idiot when it comes to negotiations. Some things were just stupid in this, but this is a good movie nonetheless. After all, just about every Horror movie has retarded shit in it.

I was a huge fan of the first movie when it came out, so even though this sequel was DtV, I was still looking forward to it. it wasn't as good as it could have been, but better then I was expecting. The first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes are the worst, as Rusty Nail is portrayed more as a serial killer that picks up random people on the highway and murders them for no reason, which isn't what he's like. He screws up the people that try to screw him over. Apart from that though, the rest of the movie is near perfect for what I expect from a Joy Ride movie - Rusty Nail playing creepy mind games with the characters, with some twists I didn't see coming (Such as the bathroom abduction). So to recap - not as good as I would have liked, but better then I expected, and if the first 15 minutes and last 15 minutes could be changed, then this could have had the potential to even be better then the first movie.

This was a pretty good movie, not as good as the 1st one. There was a lot of suspense in it. The ending ends with probably a 3rd Joy Ride movie gonna be made.

5.5/10. Surprisingly decent, with a solid performance from Nicki Aycox. It is rather predictable and has several unpleasant scenes, but it is not a boring film.
