Best lgbtq movie i have ever watch happy ending

Not a total disaster, but it is very weak. Katherine Heigl has her convincing moments, but mostly this doesn't ring true and has some cringeable dialogue which doesn't help. I like Alexis Bledel, but I couldn't picture her and Katherine together as a couple. They also don't really build her character, which doesn't help. I didn't hate the movie but a lot of it felt forced. I felt like the marriage and family bit was really rushed in there, since it was implied the girls never really talked about it, until Jenny apparently got envious of what her sister had and realised what she was missing. (Which isn't much from what I could see). I liked the message the movie was trying to put across, but I think it failed in the execution. I did like the scene with the wedding dress shopping, that was really sweet until sourpuss sis rocked up.

This is a great movie to watch on a lazy afternoon. Jenny who is 30ish woman. She has never brought a guy home. Everyone tells her that she should get married as her biological clock is ticking. While talking to her father she confessed that she is in relationship. She realises that she should get married and start a family. Later she comes out and tells her parents that she is a lesbian. On her mother's request she hides it from her sister only to hurt her later. Jenny's brother happily accepts her and tells her that he knew this since high school. Jenny's sister reconciles and also ends her troublesome relationship with her husband. In the end Jenny's parents also agree to be a part of the wedding. The movie shows the difficulty of life of LGBTQ+ group. The behaviour of society, lack of acceptance of family members, and a lot of issues of LGBTQ community. I loved the movie and would recommend it to everyone.

It's the type of movie that you leave playing in the background while doing other things. While the story has a lot of potential, it lacks depth. The personal struggle of each character can be tied in to each other a bit better.

Good message but not a great movie. The part where the mother confronts her friends in the grocery was the best part of the movie for me. The rest not so much.
