Jeffrey, a gay man living in New York City with an overwhelming fear of contracting AIDS, concludes that being celibate is the only option to protect himself. The breaking of the third wall and fantasy moments that really distinguish the story work better on stage, but there are enough enjoyable moments and strong performances (especially by Michael T. Weiss) to make it a worthwhile film.

Feels more like a theatre actors' improv exercise or a very special sitcom episode than a proper film. Cute overall with lots of funny bits, but it creaks from scene to scene and is pretty dated. It doesn't help that the title character is such an asshole.
