This movie has no ties to the actual first 8 parts..In the first 8 parts it was said Jason was an only child yet in this he had a sister..One of the actors in this movie is also in the Friday the 13th series which has no connection to the movie itself but in this movie it has an ironic twist to make you think other wise..Another familiar face make a short cameo appearance at the end of the movie but you need to see it for yourself!!

This gleefully gory and complex installment of this great franchise is not for the faint of heart! They do a fantastic job of doing something new with it, and has arguably the best kills of any installment! A-

Not particularly my favorite in the series, but not the worst. It falls into the weak category because its missing Jason for the majority of the movie. It was cool to see the supernatural origins of Jason, but I missed the Hockey clad killer.
