a good old country movie about a drifter who comes across a mother and her young family who was once famous but now getting back to her roots. and since their paths cross at their unfornute time, their influenced upon each other makes the other one stronger an abke to accomplished much more.

Jackie & Ryan is supposedly all about learning how to git where ya gotta go, but none of the characters start or end in particularly interesting places.

I liked it. Not because it's the greatest film out there but because it inspired me. I started feeling like maybe I should find an outlet for my singing or take up the guitar. It reminded me of how wonderful music really is. In the film itself, you had to take some leaps to believe the coincidences that draw Jackie and Ryan together but that was OK with me. I was willing to forgive that for the tenderness and warmth of the film and settings were always interesting.

Drama/romance sobre uma mulher que está separando do marido e corre o risco de perder a guarda da criança. Ela se apaixona por um músico de rua andarilho e os dois se dão força. Nada de espetacular, história clichê, mas é um bom filme.
