Sadly, the movie's moral soon overwhelms the story, turning an initially intriguing thriller into a ponderous parable where the message is all too obvious and the medium is all too dull.

u can have two points of view...and both are absolutely suitable. 1st: It's drama/thriller about love. 2nd: u get a film with diverse metaphors and philosophical theories. the world as an interactive system (gaia hypothesis) and its effects on earth caused by loveliness? an end for this world i would never could have imagined. just see it. strange material.

The director doesn't display the spirit of a natural entertainer; while intellectual notions abound, he never grabs the audience by the hand to pull them into the tale emotionally.

One of those movies that is so quirky that you have to watch it till the end. And you hope that it will all be revealed and there will be an explanation. But in the end all you can do is ask "What was this all about??????"
