Excellent!! Good acting, great SFX, and way better than its 80s predecesor. Its not scary that you will not sleep, but gives lots of jump scares!!

The source material that Stranger Things plagiarized obviously packs more scares, drama, and laughs than any of its imitators. This is as good as Stephen King gets.

As a fan of the book and the made-for-tv miniseries, I went into this movie with high expectations. And, it delivered. Best horror movie of 2017, hands down. Watched it in theaters twice. Can't wait for Blu-Ray release.

PROS: Likable cast, well written (the banter between the kids was pretty good) and there were some solid scares. I was surprised how many times I got chills. This isn't just any other horror movie. CONS: The special effects at times looked cheap and I wasn't all that impressed with the Pennywise performance.
