The dialogue sparkles with wit and energy, and the plot constantly twists and turns in entertaining spirals.

perhaps one of the most underrated movies EVER. this is one of the greatest character studies i have seen. its such a great look into the minds of real and sometimes disgusting characters. when i first watched this, i couldnt tell if it was just simply brilliant or if i was watching some documentary on horrible people. its one of those movies you feel guilty at for laughing.

Very, very funny, thanks to a lively first script by Mark O'Rowe, who has a good ear for earthy dialogue and a sense of life's absurd little synchronicities.
