A bizarre tale, but inspiring. Natalie Wood was a talented actress, and her talent really shines in her role here. Christopher Plummer and Robert Redford also give fine supporting performances.

Excellent performances, direction, and editing, but Inside Daisy Clover never decides on a certain tone, so the whole film seems ackwardly blended.

This film wanted to be the 1960s "All About Eve", but it ends up being more on the silly end of showbiz dramas (ie. "Showgirls" or "Mommy Dearest" though not as wonderfully awful as those films). Nice slick production value and a glamorous cast make this trashy fun.

It great start, could've been longer though, the fact that this whole story takes place in less then a year seems really unrealistic.

Wood's movements are spasmodic and graceless. The director Robert Mulligan can't quite find the rhythm, either. Some of the picture is whimsical, some of it as lugubrious as a horror movie.
