Back story to reveal the conflict in the final piece, well worth ready the subtitles on the screen

Part 2 of the excellent HK crime trilogy. This prequel takes us back & shows us where our main characters came from. "The Departed" also used this movie as its influence along with the 1st instalment.

A superb 'sequel' to the original, though it is about the incidents that led to the 'original'. Frankly, I liked this better than Infernal Affairs. The rise of gangster Sam and the complicity of the police is superbly told. Highly recommended!

The best of the Infernal Affairs trilogy no questions asked. The acting, music and plot were all top class. The ending is one of the most amazingly shot sequences I can think of to date. The pace and style of the film really need to be credited. The first time I watched this I was in total awe of just how much they'd improved on the first one (and the first ones damn awesome too!). People are usually wary when bringing in inexpierienced actors to play younger versions of the main leads, but with this film you were never left in doubt since the opening that they could do it. Kudos to them.

This is the best movie of the entire trilogy! Proof positive that it's only Hollywood that has problems with pulling off BRILLIANT sequels/prequels.
