Original Gangstas (1996)

The Rebels rule the streets of Gary, Indiana. They shoot storekeeper Marvin Bookman for giving the police information about a drive-by shooting they committed. Marvin's son, former NFL star and Rebel founder John returns to be with his father and, with a little help from some friends, to destroy the gang his way.

Flat action film but the cast is great and I'm sure you've seen *everyone* in something before. Cohen is not always the best director but he can assemble casts better than anyone bar Robert Altman.

it sucked lol. some parts were entertaining and even funny, but it had a lame storyline, and some of the fakest fight scenes I've ever seen.

Although the leads are intended to be cool and menacing, the result resembles parody; scenes of drugs, guns and fights are likely to make audiences burst out in laughter.
