The atmosphere works, but the film comes off astonishingly cheap.

This was really quite bad. The acting stinks but worst of all is the dire story. It is a painful copy of the first film without any of the intelligent script, the powerful story elements and the fantastic use of effects. The effects in this were dogs running around with red-eyes. There was one cool melting scene but that was the best of a pretty dull bunch. Avoid this one. The original is still the best by far. In one word: Bad

Entertaining and (supposedly) more accurate edition in the popular bbut rarely any good franchise, with nifty werewolves and some decent, albeit all to brief, boobage.

Incredibly boring film about a woman who hears howling, in the end we get to see some cool werewolf action but that doesn't make up for the crapfest that is this movie.
