A haunting story which will stay with me forever. Wonderfully written, brilliantly cast. I feel some aspects of Tim's memoirs were omitted but I guess they had limited time ??

While the first half of the movie , could be any other coming of age and coming out gay movie, its the second half that really had me in tears. Exceptionally great acting by Ryan Corr . His pain is our pain. His suffering our suffering, The indignity of not being addressed as "friend" in your husband of 15 year's funeral . What phenomenal acting. Watch it for Ryan Corr alone.

I was completely blown away by the entire movie from the opening Scene to the last word after the credits, I laughed and cried and loved every moment - Great cinematography, acting, direction, wardrobe, sets, costume, makeup - More than a film this touched my life in many ways. The people and places =- the love - the struggle - The Story and the legend Tim Conigrave - Thank you for this beautiful and timeless masterpiece

Director Neil Armfield sidesteps melodrama to deliver a heart-breaking, sensitive, poignant portrait of love and loss. Anthony LaPaglia and Guy Pearce provide sturdy support as the fathers...2015 is turning into a stellar year for Australian film
