If you watch any movie from this list, please make it 'Breaking The Waves'. It's not made for your eyes, or ears, or mind, or intellect... it's made for your soul. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

There was a time when I would see Emily Watson on screen and think, "I just want to run through lush meadows and make daisy chains with her." And then I saw Breaking the Waves.

One of the most beautifull films about love and sacrifice that follows... So emotionally distracting though i am no sure i could watch it again. Still a masterpiece in its kind.
