One of the best movies I ever saw and Jeremy Renner is also in it. So 10 starts I would say!!!

A great coming of age movie that manages to be interesting yet disturbing. It's difficult to watch at times but maintains a sense of honesty that seems to be missing in many films. Sure it's uncomfortable but isn't growing up just as hard to sit through?

A very well-made film. They did a good job of exploring their world and characters; my sole complaint being that they had so much to work with that they could have left out the sub-plot involving the boy trying to lose weight, for reasons of development as well as it being slightly out-of-place stylistically. Made me really homesick.

Excellent movie. Acting is superb throughout and the story is both well written and full of depth. Although the story is both depressing and disturbing in parts, the main cast, who are mostly child actors, do a stunning job...and Mr. Renner is greta as usual. Would highly recommend for anyone who thinks they'd enjoy a movie that is both moving and thought provoking.
