Give this one time. A powerful statement from 1968, still true today. You have seen the plot lifted by countless other movies (Enemy Mine) and TV shows. But see this version.

Great chemistry between Marvin and Mifune but the ending was quite abrupt in IMO

A fantastic World War 2 drama about two soldiers fighting on opposite sides of the war, stranded on an island struggling to survive against the elements and each other. If you see this on DVD, buy it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
