When the ending comes, it is more than effective, giving you a better sense of the two characters and their pain than the film has managed to until that point.

While Sharma sets the stage well, the narrative does get disjointed in places.

The movie is about a taboo subject of the relationship between a teacher and a student, not sure what they were trying to portray as it's not a moral movie or critical of the subject, for sure it's not an entertaining subject. There are laughs infused with the addition two young boys and their antics in coming with schemes for one of them to confess his love. The movie should have taken either the direction of a fun movie or taken a hard-hitting social stand on underage relationships, instead it just full of vague interpretations. Performance of all the cast members especially the young ones was good, still not sure if it will be enjoyed by a general audience.

The jumpy narrative leaves a lot unanswered, making you feel indifferent towards the characters...Haraamkhor shows a lot of promise but ends up being way too vague to be hard-hitting.
