Superb acting From Skarsgard and Bardem. Some of the best so far from Portman. A very nice period piece.

This was a brilliant and entertaining movie. Sadly, the crowd here doesn't agree. Those on IMBD do. Depends on your taste. If you like rich and meaningful movies with great acting and a touch of humor, this is for you.

I was expecting a lot from this and was a bit disappointed because of the too high hopes. But this is a nice little film. The terrors of the Spanish inquisition are mainly shown through Goya's art and that gives room to the viewers imagination. Natalie Portman does a great job as Goya's angel who is for no reason taken into prison by the inquisition.
