Well, I'm maybe the biggest fan of Michael Caine, who plays Carter in the original version. He also has a role in this. Hard to imagine I could like a movie like this, but I felt Stallone did good in this. Not as cool as Caine, but still pretty cool :) Watchable :)

Great remake, Silvester is totally incredible in his improbable suite, his acting is so good: he totally communicates us all is emotions. Script is slightly and well reviewed from the originial, and what a delight to see Michael Caine taking the role of the bad guy! A good dark-movie which gives what we wait for it.

I fucking love this movie! In my opinion, this is one of Rourke's best. And I could watch anything with Caine. Alan Cumming, John McGinley, Tom Sizemore and Rachel Leigh Cook all bring something to the table too. I've seen way shittier movies with no talent hacks than this...story could have been better but the cast works well with the material.
