Rather tame war story, but it is interesting throughout and well put together. Some good aerial footage, reasonably good performances.Tends to being a little to sentimental.

The rating isn't for the quality of plot and acting. They are typical. However... the film is an incredible wealth of real color carrier footage which I haven't seen in any other source.

The old school war film stereotypes are on parade here. Nothing like a Norte Dame half back yelling âtouchdownâ? when he sinks a Jap ship. In case you did not realize, this movie sucks.
