Another trainwreck of characters. Very funny in places, but also somewhat depressing overall. Pretty good character story, though. LOL... I guess I'm not really helping, am I? And Peter - wow - he can really, really play ANYthing. What an ass in this one!

Broderick is splendid as the gambler. He knows, as many addicts do, that the addictive personality is very inward, however much acting out might take place.

The actual back story for the director is the most interesting part about this...everything else is pretty well the course.

Every line out of Ferris Bueller's mouth is ridiculously smarmy (oh its ok he's a comedy writer). Brittany Snow does ok with what little she is given.
