This movie has a great plot of murder mystery to watch, the adult humor in it has its moments for newbies to it, but they are rather odd, to my opinion. For anyone new to this review, never let children watch this movie, despite the adult content to it, the gore and violence is very extreme. - View to Main Character If you enjoy this movie, try watching it while putting yourself in Francis' point of view in the movie, and you will experience a lot of emotion, sorrow, and pain. Not that you should really act it out, if you know what I mean. Anyways, it's a pretty good movie from 1994, with a great plot and story.

I understand that previous reviewers have already said this, but I'll say it again, for good measure: This movie IS NOT FOR KIDS. Seriously, I'm not joking when I say that this is the most disturbing animated movie I have ever watched. But I don't regret it, as it is also one of the best animated movies I have ever watched. Whilst containing some very disturbing images (especially for cat-lovers), strong language, gore and even a sex scene, Felidae boasts excellent animation, superb voice acting, a gripping plot and interesting characters. A must-see for anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery, except this time told from the viewpoint of a tomcat called Francis.

A great mystery with lots of twists and turns. Definitely not for the faint of heart, with so many disturbing images in this. Definitely one worth checking out. Unfortunately, it's apparently no where to be found in Canada, so therefor, I'd say check it out at Youtube.

One of the weirdest animated features I've ever seen. And it's also really good! 'Felidae' is a noir crime thriller about talking cats. After moving into a house with his owner, Francis begins to explore his new home while meeting other cats in the neighborhood. When one of his neighbors is brutally murdered Francis feels obligated to track down the killer. This ain't the 'Aristocats' folks. 'Felidae' is pure insanity. It includes horrifically bloody murders, violent cat fights, cults of cats, a sex scene (yep, involving cats, and completely unnecessary) and a bizarre plan to breed a species of cats who are genetically superior to humans. I love this movie, but I understand why it's not to everyone's liking.
