Interesting story with some cool twists but the acting is absolutely terrible. Of course, this is only the beginning of a money-making sequel shitfest, and it really goes downhill after the third film. People will pay to see grisly violence, simple. Probably the most pointless franchise of all time. Although, I must say that this first installment is entertaining and even unpredictable.

An amazingly sick, low-budget film that is great to watch. Yes, it may be sick, but Leigh Whannell did a great job writing a movie that was different. I love it.

Come on guys. Before 5 and 6 this first movie had a percentage of over 70 percent. So did 2 and 3. How is it that suddenly it gets shot to under 50? I have the feeling there is too much prejudice at these movies.

If you've never seen a Saw movie, forget everything you've heard about it being just torture porn, that doesn't start until the 3rd movie. The first one is not just a brilliant horror movie, it's an amazing movie all around.
