Grisly horror fun! I recommend it! A sick twist of a plot!

An all-time, unique classic. Has had huge influence. It and its sequels were very intelligent movies with great stories and ever deepening back stories and a true understanding the perpetual threat that results from the human awareness of mortality and how it contributes to human cruelty.

Interesting story with some cool twists but the acting is absolutely terrible. Of course, this is only the beginning of a money-making sequel shitfest, and it really goes downhill after the third film. People will pay to see grisly violence, simple. Probably the most pointless franchise of all time. Although, I must say that this first installment is entertaining and even unpredictable.

I spent years avoiding the Saw films thinking they were just blood n guts on screen, plotless, slasher movies. Couldn't have been more wrong. I loved how every single aspect of the plot is carefully integrated across all 7 movies (albeit to a lesser extent by number 7). Would highly recommend.

this is where it all started this movie had a big twist and was awsome brought the gore for horror fans it was awsome its about two guys that wake up in a room and have chains on their legs and it shows conflict survival and tells you about the other people so the two guys are dr. gordon and adam dr. gordon's wife and daughter are caught too and thats all im going to say i love gore fest movies and im looking forward to seeing the whole series GRADE: A+
