Great movie. Keeps suspense till the end. Mary Elizabeth Winstead eye-catching as always and it is just a bliss to watch her act. Leland Orsener' perfomance is also very good and hits all the goals.

This was a really weird/different movie. Its marked as drama and thriller but I wouold say there are little thrills and more comedy. The movie is also pretty confusing at the end. Only after reading multiple articles about it do I understand the ending. And even then theres portions that are open to interpretation. It was watchable but not something I'd watch again.

Faults is a taught and charismatic work, and also the latest film to tackle the subject of cults in a quietly earnest way.

'Faults' is one of those films that is just incredibly intriguing all the way through and forces you to question exactly what is going on and who is in control at any one point. The tone shifts from what seems to be a dark comedy to a suspenseful mystery with extreme ease and without feeling forced, which is no easy task, so credit there to Stearns. Most of all, however, it's a great character study and a fantastically interpreted exercise on just how the weak-willed, weak-minded person can be manipulated should one know how to press the right buttons.

Orser and Winstead don't just seem ever-present with each other in their spats, but play up the physicality of their characters, whether it's Orser's shrunken sadsack demeanor or Winstead's expressive eyes that speak.
