excellent movie . I watch this all the time surprised it got such a bad rating from the critics ? critics don't know how to rate a movie always look at what the audience put down.

The Butterfly Effect offers compelling evidence that whoever said hindsight is 20/20 is an idiot. Hindsight offers a hypothesis of what might have been a better course of action, but if one could put that hypothesis to the test and actually change the past, the test would not always come out positive.

The critics prove once again how clueless they are by giving a score of 33% But gave The Last Jedi 91%. Back to The Butterfly Effect, This is Ashton Kutcher's best performance in my opinion. I have to say they knocked it out of the park with this movie, I am placing it as one of my favorites.

The movie's title screen is a scan of the brain (as shown from the front). The left and right lateral ventricles of the corpus callosum (the middle of the brain) in this picture are displaced. Such is the case with many schizophrenic patients. The displaced ventricles in the middle of the brain are sometimes referred to as looking like a butterfly. In the movie, Evan is not schizophrenic, but in the next to last universe he "jumps" to (after he accidentally kills Kayleigh as a child), he is treated as if he is; the doctors tell him that everything that happened to him throughout the course of the movie was made-up.
