Several great scenes are hampered with a hooker with a heart of gold subplot that goes nowhere and one of the most bafflingly awful final acts this viewer has ever seen. Wu Jing is better left to supporting roles like in SPL. The highlight is a an obvious King of Fighters-inspired brawl on board a boat.

Very entertaining. Incredible display of martial arts from Jacky Wu. The storyline however, ruined a movie that had the potential of being really good. The ending made no sense to me as it defeated the purpose of the main character's struggle. I rate this movie above avarege based only on the great fight scenes and the good performances by Jackie Wu and Andy On.
