On the planet Ygam, the Draags, extremely technologically and spiritually advanced blue humanoids, consider the tiny Oms, human beings descendants of Terra's inhabitants, as ignorant animals. Those who live in slavery are treated as simple pets and used to entertain Draag children; those who live hidden in the hostile wilderness of the planet are periodically hunted and ruthlessly slaughtered as if they were vermin.

A visually stimulating, Sci Fi, animation reminiscent of "Yellow Submarine" in its surreal aspects, Fantastic Planet is just what the title claims it to be.

Giggity gaw. Watch this on a Tuesday Morning at 2:00 am, while eating pretzels and drinking massive amounts of soda while sitting in a wooden chair. It's a good movie that took too long to make, but still a good movie. Art films usually are (bwahahhahah oh god I crack myself up)
