Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)

Gellert Grindelwald has escaped imprisonment and has begun gathering followers to his cause—elevating wizards above all non-magical beings. The only one capable of putting a stop to him is the wizard he once called his closest friend, Albus Dumbledore. However, Dumbledore will need to seek help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. We like the movie. Newt was a charming as ever. I liked Jude Law as Dumbledore. Of course the beasts were fantastic. Was skeptical because of the rating...but I just need to learn I often don't like what the critics do so safe to say I might like what they don't.

It's a wonderful and magical movie. A Harry Potter's universe like we never seen before. It has darkness, mysteries and surprises. J.K. Rowling grown ups his universe in a way a lot of people can't understand yet. One of the best Happy Potter films ever mede. 10/10.

The CGI was outstanding and the story was connected back to the original books in obvious ways without overdoing it. While there were many new characters introduced, and their development was lacking at times, we have 3 more movies to sort them out and what we did get from the new characters showed some depth and nuance. People didn't make the choices that I thought they would make.
