Lohan’s most distinguished quality as a star is that glowing goodness, a real, unshakeable joy that can only barely be imitated, let alone replicated, and which feels perfectly at home in the bright, buoyant, only glancingly ironic realm of happy-go-lucky comedy.

One point for Lohan who actually knows this wasn't meant to be a Hallmark film. Everyone else plays it very by the numbers with no exception. Very poor performances all around make this film drag at a 90 min runtime. Unless you're a die hard fan of hers, save your $ and skip this. Maybe watch the Christmas scene of Mean Girls Instead.

Lohan does what she can with this thin, treacly material, shows she can be a team player and bring value without (one hopes) drama to a set and a project that may not be an A-picture, but still gets her name out there in a non gossipy way. Good for her.

People who give movies like this 10 stars are no better than trolls. Don't waste your time on this corny, cliche pablum. If you're desperate for a Christmas movie, at least give it an honest rating.

Forget what the critics say, Lohan is back on this wholesome movie which is fun for all the family. It’s great to see her back on the screen and in such a wholesome movie.
