As a huge Fast & Furious fan, I can honestly say F9 was the one that lost me. Action was insane and entertaining for the most part, but story was dry. And SPACE....really....this is The Fast and the Furious not Armageddon.

Gloriously ludicrous and stridently melodramatic, F9 is fuelled by its own goofy energy, delivering comically grandiose chase sequences and shameless fan service all in the name of giving audiences an uncomplicated good time.

F9’s attempts at classical drama, all its reckoning with dynastic sin, do weigh the thing down quite a bit. Those going to the theater simply for the kicky, bad-joke, MacGuffin charms of F&F may find themselves a little bored and distracted, as I was, by all the turgidity.

A Lot Of Fun While it’s not the franchise’s best, F9 is still a lot fun with over the top action, Good humor, and solid performances.
