Great musical movie! Madonna + Antonio! Gosh Antonio can sing! Johnathan Pryce as Juan Peron is a very good choice. Plus, I love Argentina.

I adored this film on release at the cinema, and even now can watch it over and over on DVD. Banderas captured my attentions at the start, and Madonna delivers an amazing performance.

By far the most widely seen of Lloyd-Webber's musicals, aside from Phantom, and in my opinion, one of the best.

Madonna proved with this movie that she has a real talent. As a musician and an actress. Her performance is great. The rest of the cast is also very good. Madonna fits the role of Eva Peron perfectly. The songs are, needless to say, brilliant. The whole movie just has pretty good production values.
