An incredible look into the mind of a man slowly losing his sanity. It captures the feeling of hallucination and losing connection to the world better than anything before it. All the while it remains funny and deeply horrifying.

Sometimes, all that you need is to be a demented bastard so you can write, narrate, direct, edit and conceive such complex, mindblowing and heart-racing reflections on life with the simplest plot elements, yet with a remarkable attention to detail that just Hertzfeldt, me and few others in the planet seem to have. We belong to a rare breed, and that is why we can see so much passion and authenticity in every single frame. While we laugh, we also say: "Dude, that's so true. And I thought I was the only one I saw life that way." 98/100

Unlike most of Hertzfeldt's previous films, "Everything Will Be Okay" actually has some emotional depth to it. Don't worry, though, it's still hilarious, and will more than likely leave you deep in thought by the end.

Don Hertzfeldt is a master of portraying how our brain works when we're letting it wonder. I'd have no problem saying this is my absolute favorite animated short of his.
