great actors but an alright movie. not the best. kinda weak.

With high expectations to this movie, I have to say it didn't quite live up to them. But it touches upon and increasingly important subject in society - gambling addiction. It is a little slow-paced, but still engaging in its essence.

The problem with ensemble films, and this one in particular, is that they often flit instead of float between story arcs. With deep lags in momentum, it is this lack of cohesion that nearly cancels out what can be great about ensemble films: the performances.

Nothing innovative, Even Money just stops short of preaching the dangers of gambling addiction. The stories tie in together poorly and the underlying theme is weak.
