This movie was awesome!!! I love how the faith and the views of the two sisters are child-like and yet powerful at the same time.

julia kwan wrote a really good script capturing the innocents of children when dealing with religion.

Decent Canadian film about how superstition and religion are one in the same both full silliness but reasons why they may be there. You would think that things would be easier and simpler if they stopped but sometimes it just there to keep things interesting.

An interesting look at what it would have been like to have been a 9 year old Chinese girl living in Vancouver in the 1970s.

This indie movie is about the coming of age of two Chinese-Canadian girls. I really liked how the movie portrayed their conflict between their Chinese and Western beliefs.
