No one except for maybe Noam Chomsky has the ability to break down the elements of society into understandable units like Alejandro Jodorovsky. His skill for allegory is unmatched and unrelenting. All I have to say is "Milagro!"

El chileno Alejandro Jodowsky, realiza en EL TOPO una original historia que mezcla elementos magicos y simbolicos, con las tradiciones del cine de accion. El resultado final es un extraÃ±o western que desmitifica a los heroes, a la vez que replantea su papel en la sociedad a la que pertenecen.

More experimental surrealism from Jodorowsky. While not as instantly bizarre as Holy Mountain it does end up just as insane. There's something unsettling about seeing a man with no legs strapped to the back of a man with no arms, and them functioning as a single person. It's little details like this that Jodorowsky does so well. Probably not for eveyone, but worth a look if you're feeling brave
