It was a great mixture of character building and fun fights. There's a few good hat tilts to the original games and the characters dialog was very fitting. Also these "critics" up on here must have no idea what they are talkin about lol. Both me and my roommate loved this movie and can't wait for a sequel.

It was pure fan service and I loved it. But I can understand how those unfamiliar would have a hard time following. The MK lore has so much to it, it's impossible to fit in one 90 minute long film. It didn't try to appeal to the mainstream and that's why the critics are dogging it. It was a fun, solid movie that stayed true to it's roots and left me wanting more at the end.

Great homage to the mortal kombat of old and new. So much potential with future adaptations with the lore. Can't wait.

Came in with zero expectations and left the drive in theater quite happy with what I saw. Very good acting and interesting plot. Better than most action movies I’ve seen in the last 20 years. Just watch and have fun. Recommended.

Like a Marvel flick, but more gory. Great action scenes. Great one liners.
