One of my absolute favorite movies of all time, I saw it and I fell in love. David Cronenberg is a genius and the cast is so perfect it's scary. Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel when they're at their very best. This movie was worthy of every price and award it received and many more!

This film may or may not be David Cronenberg's finest achievement as a director thus far. He directs this film with a clear appreciation for the psychology of the crime genre. This is the kind of subtle directorial detail that many filmmakers gloss over, but Cronenberg is just insightful enough to prop up and put on display. If the Lord Of The Rings wasn't enough to cement Viggo Mortenson into cinematic history, this master class performance surely will. This is the kind of subdued but emotionally complex performance that you would expect from Mortenson, but add in screen time with the great Vincent Cassel and you're in for a crime film that mustn't be missed. This is a masterpiece and I loved it! Absolutely incredible work!

Astonishing film. Viggo Mortensen has a screen presence the likes of no one else--his work here is only rivaled by his own work in "A History of Violence". Cronenberg proves once again that few filmmakers can explore questions of identity and the duality of man like he can. Can't wait to see it again.
