An interesting somewhat slow moving giallo. One of Fulci's better scripts and directed with some flair.

Not yet the "godfather of gore", Fulci didn't really come into his own until Zombi 2, seven years later. Nice ending though.

Cruel, beautiful and all the colours in between, Don't Torture a Duckling is a compelling and beguiling work from a greatly underrated filmmaker.

Probably my favourite fulci movie, and not a zombie in sight. Set in the back waters of southern Italy. A gruesome tale of witchery and child murder with some nasty violence. Chain whipping and some good Euro sleaze

Very cheesy, especially with the voice over acting (aren't they all though?) It was still a classic whodunit by Lucio Fulci though.
