Do the Right Thing (1989)

Sal is the Italian owner of a pizzeria in Brooklyn. A neighborhood local, Buggin' Out, becomes upset when he sees that the pizzeria's Wall of Fame exhibits only Italian actors. Buggin' Out believes a pizzeria in a black neighborhood should showcase black actors, but Sal disagrees. The wall becomes a symbol of racism and hate to Buggin' Out and to other people in the neighborhood, and tensions rise.

I first watch 'Do the right thing' as a kid and I was blown away, I watched it again as an adult and I am still blown away, this is a superb film and I know that it seems to to incite racial tensions but its just a reaction good or bad to the tension that was shown through out the film... A brilliant film from a master director.... 5/5

Hip, entertaining, and filled with insight, Do the Right Thing reproduces the modern conditions of race relations in America than any other film in recent history.

If you had an idea, an inkling, of what the ending symbolized for, you would realize that this film is one of the best and smartest motion pictures to ever be made.
