New York photographer Ronit flies to London after learning about the death of her estranged father. Ronit is returning to the same Orthodox Jewish community that shunned her decades earlier for her childhood attraction to Esti, a female friend. Their fortuitous and happy reunion soon reignites their burning passion as the two women explore the boundaries of faith and sexuality.

beautiful and devastating film, the heart hurts when you see it. Everything is perfect here , the Acting, Directing , Screenplay, cinematography and music . Rachel Weisz and Rachel Mcadams , the most perfect Couple of the year..10/10

Thought provoking insight into subtle repression through religtion, in this case, orthodox Jews. Masterful script drops tiny hints that become significant in retrospect. Love triangle unfolds with surprise. You'll see elements of religious practice you probabbly aren't aware of that pass without explanation and make you wonder. Ultimately a satisfying and ambiguous resolutiion(?) worth a couple glasses of wine with friends...

Saw this at the Twin Cities Film Festival and was blown away. Weisz and Mcadams are truly sensational, and I left the theatre feeling with a sense of bittersweet hope. This is a must see.
