it was the best movie i have seen in years...hopefully they come out with a disaster movie 2

I wouldn't have spent money to see this movie in the theater because these spoof movies are always the same. But having said that, this one does deliever a few really funny moments, and it was worth the rental. Just don't expect anything resembling a plot, and make sure you're in the mood for an hour and a half of pointless quasi-comedy.

Another one of my films which has taken me an age to get round to watching, because of the liklihood i wouldn't enjoy it......quite the opposite though! It's not quite on the scale of comedy that the scary movie series gave us, probably because it's aimed at a slightly younger audience, but it does tear into the numerous characters of American music, TV, and film, which alone makes it worth a watch. It doesn't matter if you haven't seen the films that the scenes are taking off too much, although it helped me having watched Cloverfield very recently given the main storyline was based around that. It is certainly one of the most cheesiest films i've watched to say the least, but you can't help but laugh at several moments, even if it's purely because the jokes are so bad! It's one i would definitely introduce to friends.

The directors are not making a great movie and they know it!! This isn't meant to be a really good movie!! It delivers exactly what it promised!!
