Snow is excellent, though, as she attempts to inhabit her murky character. If only we had a better sense of what the movie was trying to say about faith — or the lack thereof.

Director Kiley is mostly successful at keeping Hallmark banalities at bay, relating Cora's crime in a series of tense flashbacks, and populating the film with funny characters played by a top-notch cast.

Starts out dark and so depressing that I almost turned it off but it is really worth hanging in there. Beautiful story of how another human being can help you see the goodness within yourself when you can't see it yourself.
