Away from Her (2007)

Sarah Polley crafts a brilliant, but tragic, gem here...subtle, poignant and gut-wrenching...Pinsent's account of Grant's tortured soul deserved similar honors to those Christie received...a fantastic film from beginning to end...

It was fantastic. I had to stop the movie more than once to find a kleenex to mop up my face. It also led to a very important conversation about what to do if I ever reach that stage.

This extraordinary movie literally leaves you sitting with a heartache. Throughout the story I experienced myself to being drawn down always further. It is depressing and sad but still so real at the same time.
