I actually didn't know what to expect going into this movie. Watching was definitely a trip, but in the end, it pleasantly surprised me. I really enjoyed it and I agree with some other reviewers who say that this could be a cult classic. It definitely has the qualities of one. I would totally recommend that people who was born and/or lived in the years 1992 - 2012 see it! They would be able to get the references.

I like it, even though a lot of the dialogue seems forced. It's a perfect mix of bizarre dark comedy and self-aware meta that makes no one like it.

It would not surprise if the creators of Detention suffered from dyslexia and ADD. It's downright manic and rushed. It tries too hard to be hip and relevant, while simultaneously referencing '90s novelties that no one really gives a shit about. It worked for Scott Pilgrim Versus The World; it Hindenberg'd for Detention. The acting is subpar. The visual effects are garish. The plot: one of the worst I've ever seen.

Una mezcla de muchos generos llenos de guiños noventeros que si bien no pasara a la historia lograra al menos conseguir su sequito de seguidores que la defenderan a capa y espada.

Like nothing I have seen before. Super fast paced and cleverly written movie.
